I need comforting! I have just been CRYING over Michael Jacksons death. Well not his death exactly(although I am very VERY sad about that too), I have been upset about what the media had done to him. I have watched a couple of videos on Youtube of Michael caring for children and I just think, how could this caring, loving angel ever hurt a child? The stupid media made dirt out of aa FABULOUS, LOVING, CARING man who wanted to change the world for the better!

Pancake Day!

Its Pancake Day!!!!! I woke up to the smell of pancakes drifting past by nose. Irresistable!!!
Jumped out of bed, brushed my teeth and settled down to some pancakes with lemon juice syrup!!!!! Mmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After, I helped my mum make more pancakes, because that is the type of loving daughter I was!
I still haven't had my bath yet! I'm such a slob!!!!!

Hey guys!
I went to watch Avatar and it relly is as amzing as people say it is!
It is quite a long movie because it is 2 and 1/2 hours.
Thats a long time!
I really haven't got the time to fill out every single detail about what happened, but I can tell you this- it is an AWESOME, AMAZING, FANTASTIC movie and if you haven't seen it yet, where have you been???? Go to the cinema NOW and watch it, because it is definitely worth it!!!

Sewing Machine ?!?

Hey guys,
Haven't posted in ages but there isn't much going on...
My half-term holidays start this Friday so not long to go.
But now I am going to talk about Textiles!!!!!! If you didn't know textiles is where you make clothes and stuff. We are making pyjamas!!!!! We can choose whatever fabric you want then make it into pyjamas.
So I learnt how to use a sewing machine. Scary or what??? When the needle goes super fast it just frightens me!!!!
But I learnt a new skill that day, so I'm proud of myself.
You can do anything if you just put your mind to it and work hard!

Balloon launch, in the freezing cold RAIN!

Hey guys,
We had our balloon launch today as you guys all know and the idea was that every balloon has one name of a student inside it(you would find it if you pop the balloon). You let the balloons fly away and let them land wherever they want to. Wherever the balloon lands, for example in your back garden, there will be a note attatched to the balloon saying to ring the school and say that I have got a bolloon. They then pop the balloon and see whose name is inside it. The balloon might even end up in France!!!
The girl whose balloon went the furthest is the winner and gets a prize!
Simple!!!
So, it was very cool seeing all these colourful balloons in the air and our local news presenter (Nick Owen) came and everything, but it was RAINING and half the balloons were not going up because of the rain! They did eventually though.
Out of all the balloons that did go up, half of THEM went up for about 5 minutes then came back down in the playground again!
Knowing my my balloon was probably one of them!

Happy Birthday EHS!

My school-Edgbaston High School for Girls- has its 135th birthday this year and to start the year off we have a balloon launch! Tomorrow! Outside. In the freezing cold rain. We are gonna have to wear our school coats which are really ugly and weird.... Oh well, we get to miss lessons for it at least!

Music theory...

Hey guys.
There has been a question that has been biting away at me for ages, so I asked my dad on the way to school.
Your wondering what my question was?
It was 'Do singers do all the work?'
My dad said'No'...
Well he explained to me that there are alot of people who are in the business and they all do something for the song. People work on the backing track, the lyrics, the paragraphs etc etc.
So basically I learnt that singers don't actually do muc. They can take all the credit why don't they?
I thought they worked so hard!

Shopping

Hi peeps!
I just came back from shopping with the whole family for once! Well my little sister didn't come, she couldn't be bothered but I can live with that.
I had to buy a book for school so I went to WHSmith, my fave shop mainly because its got millions of BOOKS in it!!!!!! I LOVE reading!!!!!
I ended up buying a folder and mints too!
Then I went to River Island to look for a Gola Bag.
If you don't know what a Gola Bag is, its a sling over your shoulder bag that you can Google and find out more about.
But I'm never gonnaa buy one coz its a tiny bag and knowing me I'll breakk it by putting too much stuff in there.
LOL
There wasn't actually much point of this post I am just bored.

Nearly Feb........

Its nearly February!!!
I don't know why I'm so 'excited', I wasn't very amazed when it was a New Year.
Weird.
I am excited because of two reasons-
1. I get to turn my JLS calendar page to February and February has a picture of Aston Merrygold on it! WooHoo!!!!!!! How could you not be excited????
2. A whole year has passed since I came back from India (well,nearly a whole year) and I still miss India alot. And all my friends. :( I still haven't got over it.
I'm going to India in the summer though!!!!!
Can't wait peeps!

Today in school we had non-uniform day and we all had to bring in £1 to go to charity, towards the Haiti earthquake. We raised a lot of money to help the people in Haiti and supply them with daily needs. I gave my £1 so I did my part, now you do yours, if you haven't already.
I think Haiti needs £1 more than we do at the moment.
Don't you?????

Haiti Earthquake.....

Hi,
You all might know that there was an earthquake in Haiti that was very unfortunate. How could you not know when its been all over the news? Anyway, buildings collapsed, many people were killed and if not killed then injured. There isn't really anything more to say, other than I really feel for these people and it must be so hard, with no-where to live, your belongings all lost in the rubble and knowing that some-one you love might be there under all that concrete rubble, injured with nothing on him to help him, or some even, maybe, dead?....
It is easy to just ignore what is going on and carry on with our normal lives becuase, how is this disaster really affecting us? But have some empathy, people! How would you feel if this happened to you?
So all I'm saying is to donate some money, even as little as £1, could help someone in Haiti at the moment.
You might be doing something in your school to raise money. It would be great if you could contribute to that at least! If you are having own clothes day, don't just go around talking about which shop you got what (not that I do that anyway!), have a think about why you are even in your own clothes in the first place!
Its that easy!!!!!

Reach for the Stars!

I found out something on Sunday while I was watching a Indian film called Dhoom 2.
It is starring Hrithik Roshan. I found out that Hrithik Roshan had two thumbs on his right hand. I didn't know that before! I feel sorry for him :{ The amazing thing is that he is such a big star!!! Thats what a great person he is!!!!!!!! *sigh*
Anyway, even though, he still worked hard and look where that has brought him!!!!! So what I want to say is REACH FOR YOUR DREAMS!!!! Never give up and if sometihng goes wrong just try again!! You have probably heard that a million- no, billion- times before, but its coming from me too!!!!! So billion and one times. But of course you ain't gonna get no-where if you don't work hard! Are you?????? Huh? HUH? Admit it!

P.S Sorry if I sounded a bit like your mom.
P.P.S I didn't have to use the Hrithik Roshan example, its just the only one I could think of. There are so many more celebrities out there that work hard. Like Taylor Swift, maybe ?????

Now, I might have come back from living in India for a year but I am still Indian. So of course Indians have to celebrate REPUBLIC DAY!!!!!! I haven't forgotten, you know!
So, to those who celebrate Rebublic Day in India ( or even England, or wherever you are) HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY!!!!!!

Heya guys,
Its Nini Kay here, back from another long, hard, treacherous day at school( is that how you spell treacherours ? ? ?.) Nothing much went on excpet for boring lessons. I am sorry if any of my teachers are reading this but don't you get that your lessons aren't as interesting as you actually think they are. And, no, we do not watch presentations because we are interested we watch them because we want to look for something to have fun and joke around about. They just don't GET it. This isn't meant to offend anyone, these are just my opinions, if you feel the same then please post a comment!!!

Its actually quite hard.
I tried explaining it to my sister but- Nuh-Uh -too comlicated for her little feeble mind.(bless her. She is too much of a no-brain)
Its actually quite hard because you have to do right-hand and left-hand and its complicating.
But practice makes perfect and that the message I wanted to say.
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT so never give up, coz if you practice at least you know that you are not giving up and you are doing your best.

BRIT Awards!!!! Turns 30

Hey peeps!,
I don't know about you but I can't wait till the Brit Awards next month!!!!
I haven't actually watched them before and everyone is talking about them so I guess it must be a fantastic ceremony. Especially with such good singers performing! I heard there was gonna be people like Pixie Lott and Lady Gaga are nominated ( I think ). I think its great to honour these artists hard work!!! We just take their music for granted but how long and hard these people work to actually write that song???? And its only a 4-minute song!, you might think, but they take as long as 6months to build it up step by step, so I think its an amazing thing!!!!!!!!

Another Cinderella Story

Heya!
I have just watched a film online called 'Another Cinderella Story.' Starring Selena Gomez and Drew Seeley. Who, by the way, is looking gooooood.... Selena Gomez (who I'll have you know, I LOVE her) plays Mary, a fantastic dancer who has to work at home under her stepmother and two stepsisters (annoying little brats). Drew Seeley plays Joey-Parker a famous musician and dancer who comes to Mary's highschool. At the black and white dance they dance together but then she rushes off in a hurry (obviously because it is 12'0'clock) and drops her cell phone on the way out. Joey wants to find this girl so who holds this thing where the girl has to get the answer to a question right. Mary tries to tell him it was her but he just doesn't listen. Watch the film to ffind out what happens next.
Film- 5 GoldStars. 10/10!!!
But on Drew Seeley's looks in this film its definately 100/100!!!!!! 110% 500 GOLD STARS!!!!
Okay slightly going off the subject here. A must-see film.

Indian Christmas. Ummmm Pass Please!

You wanna know why I'm glummy glum glum 'glum'?
Well first I have loads of homework and I just cannot be bothered to do any of it. Secondly, I just been told that we might have to spend Christmas in India. I am a Hindu and my parents were born there and everything.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I LOVE India like anything, but I just don't want to spend Christmas there. They don't do anything there to celebrate. I mean, why should they? It is a Indian country so why would they celebrate a Christian festival? Its just that I have spent all of my Christmases in England. Oh well, its gonna be a new experiance and its gonna be freezing in the UK again and the weather is gonna be lovely in India so there is an upside. Christmas with the WHOLE family this year. Can't wait!

Hi,
Its 9:40PM and I am on my big cousins laptop,(seeing as my own two parentals don't let me have my own yet) and I'm really scared because the laptop is about to crash I think (its infected or something) and I'm in trouble if that happens.
I'm just randomly searching the internet looking up celeb biographies. I wanna know their personality and what kind of person they are before I judge them. I mean, all celebs have had one of those times where they probably wished they hadn't done a certain thing, or 'this is totally gonna ruin my reputation' kinda thing. I don't blame them. Even I lose my head sometimes(knowing me its no surprise). So gonna carry on with my biography-reading now. Things to do, celebs to judge. Lol ;)

Martin Luther King Jnr.

In school we had an assembly on Martin Luther King.
If you didn't know, he was a great man who fought for justice for the black people. He was a black himself and so he was sent to prison for a period of time. Martin Luther King was shot on April 4th 1968 aged only 39. He was staying at a motel and was shot when he was standing on the second floor balcony.
Luther King was an amazing person. He gave his all for his community. Why can't there be more people like him in this world? Who cares about whats going on in EastEnders or Coronation Street(english soaps if you didn't know), when things like these are going on in the world. So thats why I think we all should honor Martin Luther King on Martin Luther King Day which is this year 17th January. A greatman who should never be forgotten.

School and Work

Hey again,
I probably haven't told you enough about me and schoolwork
Well like every normal girl I am not a big fan of homework(no offence to those who are) and I hate Maths and all the usual.
I go to a girls school and I like it coz everyone there is so nice and stuff.
But coz I am in Year 7 I get alot of work and its harder than Year 6 (obvs).
Its not undoable or anything just STRESSFUL.
I guess its how its gonna be for a long time to come folks.
I want to be a dentist when I'm older.
Weird I know.
You might not think its particularly nice looking at people's mouths- everyone I tell says that- but I think its okay with me.
Anyway, be a dearie and comment.
